I LOVE THIS ICONIC CAPE COD BAR! If you want to listen to some great local musicians with a beer in your hand then this is a must visit place! There is nothing fancy about this place, but that’s why it’s cool! AMBIANCE- the WOODSHED has been going since the 60’s and I suspect it has barely changed, arguably, it’s a dive bar, and I view it as iconic as the beachcomber and the squire. SERVICE - staff have always been great, they also have wait staff that will help you if the bar is packed! FOOD - they don’t serve food here, but you can go next door and order food to eat at the ‘Shed SUMMARY - this place does exactly what it says on the tin! Local musicians playing to an appreciative audience in an iconic cape cod dive bar, does it get any better?

Tonight my daughter and two of her friends came to your establishment and it appears something must have been put into their drinks , very scary happenings at the Woodshed!! Then when they arrived home the Uber driver would not leave our house, all three girls were violently vomiting and falling on the ground they were only there an hour and half and each only had two drinks, and they were handed an open beer by a Budweiser Rep and each bought 2 drinks from the bar, were told they could not bring drinks outside so they left their drinks on a table inside the door and would go back for sips, they should know better however one would think at a local bar , local young women would be safe. Very scary place and absolutely not safe for young women . Caution to any young women , do not trust anyone around your drinks!!! Uber is not always safe!!

It’s rare that I walk into a bar and feel like I’m home, but I feel that way at The Woodshed. After living in New Orleans for most of my adult life and traveling often, there are few places I can say this about. Great live music, friendly and divey in a good way vibe, functional antique cash registers and terrific vintage decor. Edit- this is true for May and early June and September. Otherwise it’s packed with college kids, which is a shame

Great place for live music & drinks. Great atmosphere, not a restaurant, but does serve a few items made in the restaurant next door.

Small place but a really cool atmosphere inside. Staff were all very friendly. $2 bud light on draft is hard to argue about. Cash only, however, and it can get a little rowdy once the (fantastic) music/band gets going. Overall, had a really good time!

They don't serve food, but they do serve a good time. If you get hungry there is a restaurant right out the door. It is small but the locals love this spot. Seems to only be open Friday and Saturday. Hours may change as we go into summer

Summertime live music cash only dive bar. Not much more you can ask for during hot summer nights. Located on 6A with plenty of parking. It gets very loud but they do have a small patio.

Great little dive bar, chap drinks, amazing music and decorated brilliantly. However it does get extremely hot and the man on the door "the shedhead" was extremely rude to people for no apparent reason, and it really put a dampener on the night before you had even stepped foot in the venue.
